Because its molecular chain contains a certain number of polar groups, it can adsorb solid particles suspended in water to bridge the particles or aggregate the particles to form large flocs through charge neutralization. Therefore, it can accelerate the sedimentation of particles in suspension, and has very obvious effects on accelerating solution clarification and promoting filtration. Mainly used for flocculation, sedimentation and sedimentation clarification of various industrial wastewaters. Such as papermaking and pulp wastewater treatment, wastewater treatment in mineral processing and metal smelting processes, wastewater treatment in steel plants and stone processing plants, etc.
The physical properties of non-ionic polyacrylamide are mainly determined by its behavior in aqueous solution. Since the molecular chain contains amide groups or ionic genes, its distinctive feature is that it is highly hydrophilic and can be dissolved in water at various proportions. Polyacrylamide aqueous solution It has good tolerance to electrolytes, such as amine chloride, sodium sulfate, etc. It is not sensitive and is also compatible with surfactants.
Product features:
1. Good water solubility and can be completely dissolved in cold water.
2. Adding a small amount of non-ionic polyacrylamide can achieve great flocculation effect. Generally, you only need to add 0.01~10ppm (0.01~10g/m3) to fully exert its effect.
3. Using non-ionic polyacrylamide and inorganic flocculants (polymer ferric sulfate, polyaluminum chloride, iron salt, etc.) at the same time can show greater effects.
Reaction principle:
The side groups on the nonionic polyacrylamide molecular chain are reactive amide groups, which can undergo a variety of chemical reactions to obtain a variety of derivatives. However, due to proximity gene effects, the reaction often cannot proceed completely. Since nonionic polyacrylamide (NPAM) is a high-molecular polymer or polyelectrolyte, its molecular chain contains a certain amount of polar genes that can adsorb solid particles suspended in water, forming bridges between particles to form large flocs. It accelerates the sedimentation of particles in suspension, has a very obvious effect of accelerating the clarification of the solution and promoting filtration.
Application areas:
1. As a flocculant, it is mainly used in industrial solid-liquid separation processes, including sedimentation, clarification, concentration and sludge dehydration. The main industries used are: urban sewage treatment, paper industry, food processing Wastewater treatment in industry, petrochemical industry, metallurgical industry, mineral processing industry, dyeing industry, sugar industry and various industries. It is used for sludge sedimentation and sludge dehydration in the treatment of urban sewage and meat, poultry, and food processing wastewater. The positively charged groups it contains electrically neutralize the negatively charged organic colloids in the sludge and The excellent bridging and cohesion function of polymers promotes the colloid particles to aggregate into large flocs and separate them from their suspension. The effect is obvious and the dosage is small.
2. In the papermaking industry, it can be used as paper dry strength agent, retention aid, and filter aid, which can greatly improve paper quality, save costs, and increase the production capacity of paper mills. It can directly form electrostatic bridges with inorganic salt ions, fibers and other organic polymers to enhance the physical strength of paper, reduce the loss of fibers or fillers, speed up water filtration, and play the role of reinforcement, retention and filtration aid. It can also be used for White water treatment, at the same time, can have obvious flocculation effect during the deinking process.
3. Fiber slurry (asbestos-cement products) can improve the drainage of formed asbestos-cement products and increase the strength of asbestos board blanks; in insulation boards, it can improve the binding ability of additives and fibers.
4. It can be used as a clarifier for mine wastewater and coal washing wastewater in the mining and coal preparation industries.
5. It can be used to treat dyeing wastewater, leather wastewater, and oily wastewater to remove turbidity and decolorize them to meet discharge standards.
6. In the purification of phosphoric acid, it helps in the separation of gypsum in the wet phosphoric acid process.

Nonionic polyacrylamide (NPAM) is widely used in coal mine washing, textile industry auxiliaries, weakly acidic sewage treatment, metallurgical mineral processing, chemical grouting agents, soil moisturizers, etc.
Specific uses:
1. Coal washing; it can be used for centrifugal sharing of coal washing tailings, used in the precipitation and filtration of coal powder and coal slime, which can improve the recovery rate of coal powder and the filtration rate, and improve the water circulation rate.
2. Textile auxiliaries; adding some other chemicals can be prepared into chemical slurry for sizing of textiles, which can improve the adhesion, permeability and desizing performance, make the fabric have spinning static electricity, reduce sizing rate, reduce slurry spots, cloth machine breakage rate and falling objects.
3. Sewage treatment; when the sewage system is acidic, it is more appropriate to use non-ionic polyacrylamide, and it is better to use it in water treatment with inorganic flocculants such as polyaluminum and aluminum sulfate.
4. Metallurgical ore dressing; such as the flotation and smelting of zinc, manganese and copper ores, the leachate and residue can be added to PAM to improve the sharing efficiency.
5. Sand control and sand fixation; dissolve non-ionic polyacrylamide into 0.3% concentration and add cross-linking agent, spray it on the desert to prevent sand and fix sand.
6. Chemical grouting agent: 9.5 parts of non-ionic polyacrylamide and 0.5 parts of NN--methylene bisacrylamide can be used as a chemical grouting agent for water blocking in dams, foundations, tunnels, etc.
7. Soil moisturizer: It can be used as a moisturizer in soil water retention and sand fixation. It can be used to plant grass and trees on hillsides, and to fix sand and prevent dust in sandy soil.
Usage:
1. When using polyacrylamide (PAM), prepare a 0.01%-0.05% concentration aqueous solution. It is advisable to use neutral water without salt impurities.
2. When polyacrylamide (PAM) is dissolved, sprinkle the non-ionic polyacrylamide product evenly into the stirred water, and control the stirring speed at 100~300rpm. Appropriate heating (<60℃) can accelerate dissolution.
3. Adjust the pH value of the treated liquid so that the non-ionic polyacrylamide product can fully play its role. Select the optimal pH value and dosage of this series of products through experiments.
4. When adding nonionic polyacrylamide (NPAM) product solution, the mixing with the treated liquid should be accelerated. After floccules appear, the stirring speed should be slowed down to facilitate the growth of floccules and accelerate sedimentation.
