Product Features
Cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM) is a linear polymer copolymerized by cationic monomers and acrylamide. It is white powder with a molecular weight ranging from 8 million to 12 million. The ionicity ranges from 10% to 60% and has good water solubility. It can be dissolved in water at any proportion and is insoluble in organic solvents. The effective pH range is 7 to 14. It has the characteristics of a high polymer electrolyte and is suitable for the treatment of negatively charged and organic-rich wastewater. It has the functions of decolorization, adsorption, turbidity removal, and bonding.
Product Uses:
Sludge dewatering agent: Urban and industrial sewage is often treated by activated sludge method. Biochemical sludge is often a highly hydrophilic colloid with a high organic content and is extremely difficult to dehydrate. Treatment with cationic polyacrylamide requires less dosage, high dehydration efficiency, and is easy to separate.

Treatment of sewage and organic wastewater: This product is positively charged in acidic or alkaline media, so it is extremely effective in flocculating and settling the suspended particles in the sewage with negative charges and clarifying them. Cationic polyacrylamide is several or dozens of times more effective than anionic polyacrylamide, nonionic polyacrylamide or inorganic salts. This is because this type of wastewater generally carries a negative charge.

It is used as a water treatment flocculant in water plants that use rivers as water sources: small dosage, good effect, and low cost. Especially when used in combination with inorganic flocculants, the effect is better.

Usage:
1. When using polyacrylamide, prepare a 0.01~0.03% aqueous solution. It is best to use neutral water that does not contain salt impurities.
2. When dissolving polyacrylamide, sprinkle the cationic polyacrylamide product evenly into the stirred water, and control the stirring speed at 100~300rpm. Proper heating (< 60°C) can accelerate the dissolution.
3. Adjust the pH value of the treated liquid to make this series of products fully play its role (select the optimal pH value and dosage of this series of products through experiments.)
4. When adding the cationic polyacrylamide product solution, the mixing with the treated liquid should be accelerated. After floccules appear, slow down the stirring speed to facilitate the growth of floccules and accelerate sedimentation.
Packaging and Storage
The product is packaged in 25KG paper-plastic composite packaging bags. It can also be packaged according to user needs. Dry powder products will absorb moisture and form lumps if left exposed for a long time. They should be stored in a cool, ventilated and dry place.
